QR Electronic Commerce Strategy Development
Brisbane, Australia (2000)

Understanding Business
The first deliverable was a Project Charter enabling all the stakeholders to understand the proposed scope and their role in assisting with delivery. The Chief Executive and his Deputy signed this off. The key part was to understand the business, it constituent parts and directions. The 2000 Corporate Plan, Statement of Strategic Intent and various Business Group plans were analysed and meetings with senior managers organised. This led to a clear understanding of the current position of QR.
