Why Six Steps?

The six steps evolved from actual field practice integrated with outcomes from regular seminars and academic study.

We started with a commonsense approach that is reflected in the structure of the assignment descriptions for Chase-AMP, Westpac & BNZ and the Bank of New Zealand. The six steps themselves evolved mainly during the early nineteen nineties. They have stood the test of real application with real enterprises. They are low level enough to provide real guidance but not too low level to stultify thinking outside the square with too much detail.
